"Wait!" Lauree winced, "I don't want to do this alone." She looked back at him, longingly hoping he would come.

Therilian Walked the short distance to her, and took her hand.
"I can't come... You know that...." His eyes looked really worried, but his face showed nothing. "But... It'll be okay. Next time okay?" He kissed her forehead.
He turned and walked back to his seat, not looking back as the doctors took her away. He sat down an closed her eyes, tears escaped his eyes behind the palms of his hands.
"Don't let her die..." he whispered.

"It's too early...I could be judging this all wrong." Lauree was stubborn, "I feel okay now, maybe it was cramps." She got up, and for some strange reason they didn't even fight her on it.

"Come on Thrilian..." She said, it was very easy to see she was hiding the pain, she'd probably deal with it on her own in some special 'Lauree' kind of way.

Thrilian frowned. "Lauree! I don't want to leave without even checking." He grabbed her hand without standing up. He was trying to be calm, but all he could think about was the past. He had lost so many this way, not only Reine but his mother as well, not two weeks ago his friend from music school, and a student. He looked up at Lauree eyes pleading, looking like a child unable to let go of his best friend for fear of them having to go home. "Please?....."

"F-Fine...I'll get checked and if it's time I'll do it alone..." Lauree looked afraid, her face paled considerably. She turned, sat down in the wheelchair and was whisked away to the hospital room.
She didn't come back for several hours.

Thrilian sighed, and looked at the ceiling. He wondered if he had done the right thing, sure he was worried about her. But if she really didn't want to he shouldn't force her like that. But even with that, he still couldn't let her just go home. He was too selfish and he knew it, but he didn't want her to get hurt.
He stood up and paced. He hated waiting. What on earth was taking them so long?!

"Thrillian?" A voice said suddenly. It was the doctor and he looked pretty happy, "You can see Lauree now."

"Where is she?!" Thrilian asked suddenly snapping back to reality. "Is she okay?" He saw the smile and relaxed a bit. Still he was tense.

The doctor led Thrillian down the long hallway and to a room where Lauree laid holding a tiny bundle in her arms, she grinned upon seeing the doctor come back with someone she missed a lot.

Thrillian let out a sigh of relief, she looked fine, better than he thought she should. But that was okay. He walked over slowly. "Hey." he said quietly. "How are you two?" He smiled a bit as he said that, though he looked like a wreck. He hadn't combed his hair, and his clothes were still disheveled.

"Exhausted...turns out I was nearly ready to have her in the waiting room. I was sent to delivery but then things got hectic and it lasted longer than they thought." Lauree said and looked down, "She's pretty. Do you want to hold her?"

Thrillian walked over. "If she's half as pretty as you she's beautiful. Of coarse I'd love to hold her." He sat down next to the bed, and relaxed a bit more. He couldn't help but smile when he saw the baby, she was beautiful.

Little curls ran all over her little head, she had big blue eyes and a tiny little mouth. Her nose was scrunched up and she cooed softly in a yawn.
"She's tiny, I shook all over when they handed her to me." Lauree said.

Thrillian nodded. "My sisters were all this small." He said smiling as he took the baby. He looked completely peaceful like that. Holding the child. "What did you name her?"

"Theresa." Lauree replied with a tear in her eye, "Theresa Rebekah." She felt happy that all of this ended so well.

"Theresa...." He whispered blowing slightly on the child's face as he did. He smiled, and looked up at Lauree. "It's a perfect name."

Lauree and Thrillian were married and lived together with Theresa, who was shortly adopted to Thrillian after the marriage. =D

Thrillian now together with Lauree and Theresa, lived happily. His sister visited often, Kile who still wasn't talkative watched Theresa constantly while they were there, which made Kasey mad. Thrilian would laugh watching them sometimes, it was like a show. Kasey would pull on Kile asking for help with her home work, which was usually something silly, and Kile would glare at her and go back to watching Theresa. May would eventually intervene but she seamed to enjoy the show as well.

Lauree was happy to have her own home and be living with Thrillian. It was a beautiful sunny day out when she went to sit outside on the rocking chair with four year old Theresa.

Thrillian rushed outside pulling on his shirt, violen in one hand. "This is bad! I'm going to be late! Oh Lauree there you are." He kissed her. "I got to run, I'm late for a lesson. He kissed Theresa on top of the head. "Bye, be back in like two hours." He shouted over his shoulder as he jumped into the car.

"Bye!" Lauree shouted, she hugged Theresa close, while she waved to her adopted father.

She hadn't told him yet but things were about to change, "See you later!" She called.

Thrillian drove off.

School let out at three exactly that day. Kile headed out the door and down the side walk. Kasey followed him. "Kile! We should go home! You can't bother aunt Lauree everyday like this! Seriously! She's your cozen, your obsession with her is kind of creepy!" He looked at her pointedly, and continued to walk. "But I don't like you like that!" "We're seven, I don't like Theresa like that either. She is after all my cozen." He said and continued to walk. Kasey huffed and followed him angrily, she hated it when he talked as if she didn't know what he was thinking all the time.

Lauree was tired and liking the silence with her little girl, the breeze blowing through their hair as they dozed. That was until they heard griping voices.
Theresa automatically began to cry loudly aroused from her nap.
