Re: Unemployed Ninja
I nodded, and decided to walk beside him. It looked more natural, and less suspicious. "Thanks for the heads-up." I replied. I had grown up in the village we had left not too many days before. I had never been outside of it.
Re: Unemployed Ninja
We soon crossed over a fairly shallow stream and came upon a place that had doors leading to the inside of the village. This was my home! I grinned proudly and pointed a hand out, "There it is! Iga!" I had a lot of family who would think a lot of this, especially since they'd wanted to wed me for so long.
Re: Unemployed Ninja
The village really very beautiful. "It's beautiful." I echoed my mind's thoughts as I looked around, eyes filled with wonder.
Re: Unemployed Ninja
"I'm glad you think so." I didn't mean to sound prideful, but it was my home. Entering it could be seen that we were very big on Ninjutsu. I was very eager to train Aja, but I wanted her to get better first.
Re: Unemployed Ninja
"Where do you live?" I asked softly. There was so much beauty to take in. Leeandra, my village, was very much dull, boring and ugly.
Re: Unemployed Ninja
"Not too far from here. Just follow me and we'll be there in no time." I walked through the town with her in tow. It felt so good to be home!
"Ijin-sama! Welcome back!"
I waved, I was fairly well known in the village and I hoped it didn't make Aja uncomfortable.

Re: Unemployed Ninja
I looked around for whomever had called for him, but it was hard to tell because everyone I saw was looking at the two of us.... and women who were old enough to be his mother were giggling and talking amongst themselves. I hope they didn't think there was anything between us, because there wasn't. Nothing at all! The people staring at me was what was freaking me out. "Why are they all staring at me?" I asked concernedly.
Re: Unemployed Ninja
"No one thinks anything and if they do they'll find out later. Stop being paranoid." I really didn't like how she worried about everything. So what if they thought we were together?
I arrived at my house, it was fairly large.

Re: Unemployed Ninja
"I'm not paranoid! Well... maybe I am! But it's just because I don't want people to think less of me!" I didn't like how he treated me like an idiot. Or was I just being paranoid about that too? I decided I didn't care. When we reached his house, I gasped in amazement. It was big! Apparently overachievers had big houses. I wondered if I became an overachiever, would I have a big house? "It's huge!" I exclaimed.
Re: Unemployed Ninja
"Well I have a big family and we also take in ninjas who are on assignment." I said as I entered. It wasn't a big deal to talk about ninja things here, Iga was, after all, a place that did ninjutsu.
Re: Unemployed Ninja
"Oh..." I replied, voice filled with wonder. I was raised on a farm. The first in my family to make it so far in the art of ninjutsu. Yet, I failed. Oh well, such is the life. I followed him into the house. It was absolutely beautiful!
Re: Unemployed Ninja
"Ijin! You've returned!"
I wasn't surprise to see that my younger sister was the first to greet me. She had long black hair and big brown eyes. She was always the first to greet me and then-
"IJIN!"
My mother came next.

Re: Unemployed Ninja
I hadn't known Ijin had a sister. I guess I had never thought about it, having grown up as an only child. My mother wasn't able to conceive again after I was born. Then when his mother came calling, I saw the look on his face. It was almost as if he expected it. I smiled sweetly as I stood there behind him. It was a little awkward.
Re: Unemployed Ninja
"Oh Ijin! You didn't send word that you'd be bringing home a girl! Oh, she's so pretty! What happened to your nose?"
"Mama, don't ask questions like that." My sister piped up, that was a long story.

Re: Unemployed Ninja
I blushed. "I... uh...." I struggled with my words. I never was a very good people person. "It's just that... I mean to say that we're not..." My heart beat rapidly as I tried to explain that I was not Ijin's 'girl'.
Re: Unemployed Ninja
"I'm training her in Ninjutsu, Mother." I explained in a short sentence.
"Oh, I see! Well that's different then." She answered.

Re: Unemployed Ninja
I bowed slowly. "It is very nice to meet you...?" I didn't know her name... I felt so stupid for not waiting to hear it.
Re: Unemployed Ninja
"Excuse my manners. My sister, Kagome and my mother Mizu." I explained, stretching out an arm to introduce them.
"Dozo yorushiku." They said simultaneously.

Re: Unemployed Ninja
After the long trip I decided that I really needed to bathe, not that it mattered too much but...still. I walked away from the group of them and went towards the washroom.
Re: Unemployed Ninja
I was held up by his mom and sister for awhile until they finally decided they got all the information they needed from me, found me a room close to Ijin's, and made me take a bath. I stripped down, and wrapped a towel around myself, and made my way to the bathroom.
Re: Unemployed Ninja
It felt nice to be home without a lot of weirdos jumping into the washroom together. The peace was amazing and I felt right at home where I was.
Re: Unemployed Ninja
I walked right into the washroom without a care in the world. I got halfway out of my towel before I realized that Ijin was right there... in the washtub. In front of me. I paled.
Re: Unemployed Ninja
When I saw her I couldn't help but shout.
"IDIOT!" I barked, "YOU SHOULDN'T UNDRESS IN FRONT OF ME!" I kept myself seated and ducked under the bubbles after I was done yelling.

Re: Unemployed Ninja
I screamed and covered myself back up, running out as quickly I could right back to my room. My heart raced. I couldn't believe that had just happened. I shakily redressed and sat on my bed. I just exposed myself. I thought to myself, eyes filling with tears. Why didn't I look? How had I not seen him when I walked in? Now he had seen me naked. How much more complicated were things going to get?
