Samantha sat down next to her, "Do you want to talk about it? I'm here for you." She forced a smile, she felt like a mom at times, consulting each child as Thrilian had called them. Sometimes it was more of a big sister feeling.

"I just-" She stopped to burst out into tears again, and hug her. "MathewnIhadafightandItwasjustoversomethingstupidandnowIfeelawfulbut-" She said in a rush as more tears came.

Samantha hugged her tightly accidentally poking the needle into her arm without even noticing, "I'm so sorry...is there anything I can do?" She asked as she pulled back, she didn't notice that the syringe was empty.

Clara didn't even feel it. "Thanks... But I don't think so... I think we're just going to have to get over it..."

Clara suddenly got to her feet and stomped around the room. "Yeah right! It's all his fault anyway! I just asked when- And then he got all upset and started yelling at me! It's not my fault at all! He's so stupid sometimes!" She abruptly broke out into tears again, and through herself on the table again. "But I can't help but love him. I'm so stupid... There has to be something wrong with me..."

Samantha was shocked by the abruptness of her mood swings, "Ah...just relax...everything will be fine. I'm sure he loves you still."

"No....." He voice was muffled she now had her face buried in her sleeves. "He hates me.... I'm ugly anyway. I always knew I was. He probably likes someone from that place that Thrilian took him from. Someone with long golden curls, and blue eyes. Or something like that..." She continued to cry.

Samantha sighed and looked at the syringe. Her eyes widened in horror when she saw that it was empty. Quickly she tossed it across the room and pretended not to have seen that...

"Would you like something to eat, Clara? I can make us something and you can tell me more about what happened...it will make you feel better."

"NO! I'm better off starving to death! If Mathew won't have me no one will anyway. I'll become an old maid, and live out my day's brokenhearted, and lost. Until I die of starvation that is." She said sitting down on the table again. Then she laughed. "I'm silly sometimes. I'm also starving, really, I'm tired too.... I feel like I haven't slept for years..." She yawned. "Or eaten for that matter. Good night." She fell asleep on the table.

The first thing Samantha did after she fell asleep was mutter awful things about herself, "Agh! She's going to kill me! She'll wake up and look totally different no doubt..." She felt like an idiot.

Clara continued to sleep. Mathew continued playing his game with Samuel, but was thinking he should go apologize to Clara. After all it was really his fault. He shouldn't have gotten mad about such a silly thing. But he had wanted to ask her. He sighed.

Samantha paced and made some sandwiches so Clara could eat when she got up. She went over to her lab table after that and began to make another syringe, watching Clara to see if the other had worked or not...but deep down she was hating that this even happened.

Mathew finaly stood up. "Hey... I should go. Can you finnish the game without me?" "Easily." Said the younger boy. "You were playing so poorly my cat could do better!" "I'm sure. Knowing you your cat can play chess against grand masters..." He muttered and walked out heading for Samantha's lab, knowing that's where she would be.

Samantha was in the middle of making something with Mathew came. She dropped the syringe and went to open the door for whoever it was coming.

Mathew looked at her, he had been running and was slightly pink in the cheeks. "Huh... Is Clara here?" he asked quietly.

"Yeah she's...err...asleep..." Samantha said nervously. And if I'm right...

"Oh..." He turned to leave. "MATHEW!" Shouted Clara. "I'm sorry!" She said hugging him and crying, not noticing, that soon after she had eaten all the sandwiches her stomach had grown quite large, causing the long dress she had been wearing to seam quite short. "Eh?" Mathew blinked not sure what to say, Clara looked pregnant, but he didn't want to offend her so he said. "I was coming to apologize to you..."

Crud crud crud!!! Samantha thought in frustration, the medicine worked and she wasn't too happy about it...how long before either of them noticed? She already felt like an idiot for doing that to Clara even though she hadn't noticed.

Clara frowned. "Gosh...." She stepped away and put a hand on her stomach. "What?! What's going on?!" She asked. "I couldn't be... Because you know.... This is just... What on earth! Somethings kicking me..."

Samantha gulped and hid the other syringe. The stuff worked too well and now she would pay if Clara figured out how it happened.

"Samantha what's happening to me?!" She asked loudly. "It hurts!" "Clara what did you-" "Nothing honest Mathew I swear! Besides there's no one here so how could I?! I'm as confused as you are!" She cried, and he hugged her. "I believe you... I'm not sure how this could happen, but I believe you anyway... Samantha what should we do?"

Samantha frowned, "Eh...just wait it out...I guess. I think there was a little accident earlier...if it makes you feel better I'll do it to myself too!" She gulped a little at her offer. Crud!

"What? Samantha that sounds really... Weird...." said Mathew. "Anyway we'll deal with that later! What should we do about Clara?" Mathew had picked her up and she was making screaming sounds.

"Ugh! Just lay her down, I'll deal with it! Let me think!" Samantha hated this, she was watching Clara go through a ton of changes in less than an hour.
