Samantha nodded as she backed up, "Okay...I'll be back in a few moments." She turned to leave and walked to the game room feeling nauseous at the thought testing on herself. She gulped and walked in silently looking at 'the children' as Thrilian liked to call them.

Samuel was sitting on Clara's lap, and talking rapidly about six different subjects at once. One was about how he had built his own veical out of scrap mettle last year. Clara was nodding and smiling and telling him what an amazing child he was, and Mathew was sitting in a chair silently watching everything.

Thrilian had moved to his bed, lying on his side, coughing like crazy, a few tears slipped out of the corners of his eyes as he struggled to breath.

Samantha wasn't sure what to do exactly but she had the most fearful feeling suddenly as she thought back to that one cough Thrilian had earlier. She backed out of the room in a rush and ran back to his feeling as though she was needed. Against his wishes most likely she burst into his room looking at his condition.
"THRILIAN!" she called in worry more than anything.

Thrilian frowned sitting up from his bed. There was a small pool of blood on his bed, he moved so she couldn't see. He didn't look happy to see her, he struggled for a few moments holding down his coughs. "Has something gone wrong with them?" He asked her his voice starting out quiet then ending normally.

"No something has gone wrong with you and your keeping it from me! You know how much I want to help others and yet you..." Samantha turned her head from him, "Fine! You can just let yourself die then! We'll see what happens to your precious children then!" She screamed before leaving and slamming the door behind her.

He fell back into bed, and couldn't keep himself from coughing. He could only hope she had gotten out of the hall in a hurry. 'Really!' he thought managing to keep himself from crying out in pain at the next cough, he needed as much of his energy as possible to keep breathing. 'She can be so..... Prying some times!' though that was only on the outside of his mind. Inside he wanted to call out, though he didn't have the air to do so, wanted her to help. But was also scared.

Samantha left instead of going to the children as he'd wanted her to. As soon as she was outside she began to sob uncontrollably. There was nothing she could do if he wanted to be stubborn.

Thrilian fell uncontentious lying in about a three cup pool of blood, not counting that which had soaked into his blankets.

Seeing Samantha rush out like that had scared Clara. Samuel as well, though not as much as Clara, who now wouldn't let him out of her arms, and told him he could go later, but he needed to sit still for now.
Just a little while later somone came in and tried to take Samuel for measuring, and Clara wouldn't let them. The woman sighed agrivatedly after she had tried for the fifth time to pry the boy from her arms. Giving up she grabbed Mathew and pulled him off. Clara stroked Samuel's hair. "Don't worry... Your okay now..."

Samantha calmed down and went back into Thrilian's carrying him to her lab in an almost secretive way. She put him down on a bed when she got there and cleaned the blood off of him before hooking him up to some things to keep an eye on him.

Next she went back to her lab table and eyed the syringe...it was driving her crazy.

Thrilian lay still, not regaining contentiousness.

Samuel tried to squirm away, but Clara didn't seam to notice. "Shhh...." She rocked him back and forth for a while before finaly calming down and letting him go.

Samantha groaned and picked up the syringe, stupid enough to try it of course. She poked her arm with it and then put it down, "There! One thing off my mind." She muttered as her eyes wandered back to her 'guest'.

Thrilian opened his eyes slightly for a moment, and upon seeing Samantha. He smiled, and closed his eyes assuming he must still dreaming.

Samuel looked at her confused. "Clara.... Why are you so weird?" He asked with a normal five year old curiosity. Clara looked taken aback. "I... I... Ah... Sorry... I'm..." She started crying and hugged her knees.

"Hey...sorry to bring you hear but you're pretty sick." Samantha said to him as she took his hand to feel for a pulse. She wasn't sure what was wrong with him yet.

Thrilian sat up suddenly. "What?! Wait I'm really here?! Oh my gosh, they must be freaking out! How long have I been here?" He stood up. "How'd you get me down here without Max seeing you? Not that it really matters. I am in so much trouble..." He held his head in his hands and started coughing again.

Samantha sighed irately, "Listen, you're VERY sick and this is no time to ask questions. Right now you just need to rest they 'children' are fine." She got him to lay back down and turned briefly as she eyed the empty syringe.

Thrilian frowned and regained his composure. "I'm not worried about the Children at the moment. Though I'm glad to hear they're okay. I'm worried about my bodyguards looking for me! They're probably so mad... Ah. I can't believe I let myself get into this mess." He said but didn't sit up this time.

"Gee you could have died of blood loss back there, the least you can do is thank me for saving your butt!" Samantha crossed her arms as she looked at him angrily.

He sighed. "Thanks. Now we have to get me back into bed before something horrible happens, like they tell the press! Ahg that would be a disaster!"

Samantha glared at him before unhooking him and starting to drag him back to his stupid home, "I really hate you right now! I mean sheesh I try to help and all you ever give me is grief!" She was starting to act a little moody with him...not that she'd ever acted normal but right at that moment she just started to cry.

He stood up. "I can walk- What? Gosh.... Come on Samantha don't cry...." He hugged her akwordly. "I'm sorry... But really.... It was a little reckless. If they had found me down there before I woke up, you could have been in big trouble...." He trailed off, trying not to cough.

Samantha moaned, "Gosh! Just...forget it! I was only trying to help you!" She screamed suddenly in pure rage.

He hugged her tightly, partly to comfort her. And partly because he was afraid she might try to hit him if he let go. "Sorry...." He said quietly, swallowing trying to keep from coughing. Suddenly he felt dizzy. "Ah..." He dropped to the floor, not wanting to use her as a support for his shakiness, he held his head in pain.

Samuel patted Clara's hand. "It's okay. I didn't mean to make you cry...." But then Mathew came back in, and Samuel was taken to get measured for his clothes. Clara almost tried to grab him, but controlled herself, and sat back down in her seat still crying.

Samantha turned sympathetic in less than two seconds later, "Thrilian I'm so sorry! Are you okay?" She asked with deep concern.

Thrilian shook his head, finally admitting what was now obvious. "No.... I'm not..." There was blood on the ground as he coughed hard again, rolling onto his back he groaned. Then tried to stand again.

Samantha sighed, "Here, let me help." She quickly took him back to his home and waited at his bedside, hoping he would feel better soon.
