Bradly nodded, "I love you too. But I need time to think things over now. Bye." He hung up and walked back into the room. He wasn't sure if he should ask her again, last time she slammed the door in his face.

She closed the phone. "I won't cry..." She said quietly. "I won't cry, because he has all the right and reason to... And... So..." She walked back to her room and closed the door behind her.

Bradly didn't call back for a long time. And when he did he was a resident training in forensics. It had been about a month and he was ready to talk to her again after having his heart trampled.

Katey answered the phone through a mouth full of burnt toast. "Hello?" She mumbled. "This is Katey."

"Hey...it's Bradly." Bradly said as he was walking towards her house, he wondered if she'd see him out the window.

She gulped her toast sticking in her throat. "Bradly?.... I was thinking that... Whats up?" She said, stumbling over her words.

"Nothing...just standing on your front porch." Bradly said with a tired sigh.

She rushed to the door and opened it. "Um.. Hi..." She said still through the phone receiver.

Bradly shut his phone and wrapped his arms around her suddenly, holding her close.
"I'm so sorry all of this happened..."

She hesitated a moment, and hugged him back.
"It's not your fault.... I'm just glad your back at all after what I did..... Anyway! There's good news.... On my end." She laughed a bit. "I'm not going to die.... Or not for a while anyway. I don't know, but the doctors said it was some kind of mistake... Kind of annoying but what can you do?" She said unusually calm about it.
Truthfully when they told her she started yelling at them and throwing things. But we won't go into that... She calmed down and stopped leaving annoying messages on they're answering machines about a month ago. And now had almost forgiven them.

OOC: Ah! I'm only on for am minuet I think.... I'm probably going to try to get some more sleep.... I may even redo this post once I look back and see how ridicules it is. (on an hour of sleep) XD But for now it stays. Razz

Bradly could only shake his head in irritation, "Which means you were horribly irrational and ruined our relationship because of it. If you hadn't done that we..." He groaned a little, "we wouldn't have gone a month without talking, I would have not had to reconsider everything, especially that I wasn't sure I even wanted to propose again. I have my reasons and you know that." He pulled the ring out of his pocket, "I...I'm willing to give you a second chance. I don't want you to feel guilty...but...this isn't how I wanted it to be. A month ago...I had it all planned..." He looked really upset, brokenhearted. "I'm sorry. I just hope you won't be so irrational again."

"You're welcome." Bradly smiled at her but he didn't seem as excited as he was the day he'd first proposed. The look on his face seemed to flash, that pale and shocked...broke look. It was a sad memory.

OOC: In regards to my stupid posting. I am forgiven (I hope) because I have a really stupid cold.

She smiled back at him for a minuet. She felt slightly akword. She wished things could go back to the way they were before, back when she didn't have to worry about things like this. When she was a kid.
'I guess some people do get dumber when they're adults.' She thought sadly.
She had single handedly ruined everything. Her kid self would be very unhappy to know she grew up this way.

A few months later they got married and moved into a beautiful house!

Bradly was gone a lot doing his forensic work at the hospital.

Katey stayed at home most of the time. She still managed to burn everything she cooked. Once she was boiling water and forgot the pan. The water evaporated, and she started to burn the mettle of the pan. (it wasn't a very good pan to begin with)
At this moment however, she was sitting on the porch steps holding Marshmallow, and watching the clouds go by.

She sighed. She didn't mind eating take out every night. But she just wished she could surprise Bradly with a home cooked meal once in a while, that wasn't burnt, or soaking wet.
