Samantha hunched over her table and looked down, "Mathew take Samuel to play please...I need to talk to Clara alone." She looked a little nervous to explain her experiments to the unsuspecting girl who was the first to show that it worked, it was hard, indeed.

Samuel protested as Mathew picked him up. "Come on Sam... Lets go..." Clara looked at Samantha after they were gone. "Samantha!" She said harshly. "Where are they?!"

"M-Mathew said it wasn't child friendly enough so he had me take them somewhere...where they'd be safe. Listen, what happened earlier was an accident, I had no intention of trying my experiments on you. Normally I test them on myself so I should have been the one to go through that pain. I'm sorry. I really am." Samantha didn't turn to even look at her, it was too hard to.

"You know I would have done it if you asked me too... Though I was a little surprised.... MATHEW SAID WHAT?!!!! He didn't even ask me what I thought?! Where are they?! We have to bring them back!" She started to cry.

"Well I didn't mean to...I really didn't. I'll try to get them back I promise..." Samantha looked at the other syringe, "I never planned on asking for help...I don't like to do that, it's just wrong."

"Samantha we have to get them back! They shouldn't have to live like that! I never had parrents! Do you know what it's like to be asked for you last name and have none?" She continued to cry.

"Yes I do because Samantha Livings isn't even my real name! I've been under so many names it's not even funny, so don't even go there! And I saw both my parents killed in a bombing so I know what it's like to be alone." Samantha was angry, she couldn't believe it.

Clara was surprized, then she started to cry again. "I'm sorry... I'm sorry..." She said through her tears. "I suppose I did have family for a while... So I'm luckier than some... I guess...." She stopped. "We just have to get them back!" She was still crying.

Samantha sighed, "What will you do with them? We don't have the things here that babies need and it's a dangerous place right now...There isn't a whole lot I can do." She felt bad about this but there wasn't a thing she could do to at this moment to make a space for the twins.
"You were practically nine months pregnant in two hours, Clara...we didn't have time to plan."

"Samantha! I'll make room... My room is big enough. Sam usualy comes in anyway because he's scared at night, there's plenty of room for two babies! Pluss I'll take care of them with what I have, I won't inconvenience anyone else I promise. But I just won't have them be alone!"

Samantha sighed irately, feeling at a loss, "Clara...if we get there and they are gone then...you know what to do." She took Clara to the orphanage just to find out that the babies were already adopted to a family who apparently couldn't have children. She knew she was about to be yelled at for sure.

"They.... But I didn't want to...." She burst out into tears. "This is all your fault, and his! How could you let him do this to me?! To them!" She ran out crying.

Samantha ran after her and stopped her, "Wait!" She handed the second syringe to Clara, "If you want a baby so desperately use that. I hadn't planned on it going so recklessly, and I'm sorry."

"I don't want 'another' baby! I want them!!!!" She ran to her room and locked the door, after tossing the syringe at Samantha.

Samantha groaned, she hadn't meant for this to happen at all and now she was paying for it...and Mathew would pay for it too. She sighed and went back to her lab.

Clara cried untill she fell asleep again. She was still really tired.

"So... Tabby still hasn't made it here..." Samuel sighed. "I checked the ship but she's still not here. Want to play chess!" He brightened up at the end. Mathew shrugged. "Sure if you want to." "Of corse I want to!" Said Samuel taking out his board and setting up the peices. "Your white!" Mathew moved a pawn.

Samantha was angry at herself, she wanted to go back and change things but things couldn't be changed now. It was horrible and she felt so...furious. She looked at the second syringe, thinking about testing it on herself...but it may lead to chaos.

Samantha sighed deeply and sat down on the metal table looking down at the item in her hands. She wondered if it would work as fast...but hoped deep down that it wouldn't.

Samuel jumpped up onto the couch waiting for Mathew to take his turn, and it broke. Mathew Shouted, jumping to his feet the pieces got knocked over. "Ouch.... I win. You knocked over you king." "Yeah, but you have wood sticking into your arm!" He pressed a button and Max came immediately, and took Samuel to the hospital.

Samantha gulped a bit and took the syringe, pressing it into her arm and pulling it back out when it was empty. In a short amount of time her moods went from happy, to sad, to furious.

Max knocked on the lab door to tell her what had happened.

Samantha opened the door just as she was stuffing her face with a sandwich, "What's wrong?" She asked, hoping he'd just hurry up and leave.

He blinked. "Umm.. Well I just thought that you should know that Samuel is in the hospital... He got a rather large peice of wood from the couch stuck in his arm, and they're not sure if he'll ever be able to see out of one of his eyes. Sorry to bother you." he said and turned to go.

"No it's fine, thanks for telling me." Samantha smiled and shut the door after he left, she finished eating and went to sit down for a moment to catch her breath. Now she felt really tired, it didn't seem to go as fast as it had for Clara...though it didn't really matter either. I may as well get some projects done. She thought as she walked over to her table where she was trying to find a cure for tuberculosis; the disease that Thrilian died of.
